Email placeholders

In the context of email, placeholders are special tags or codes that are used to insert dynamic content into an email template. Placeholders can be used to include a variety of information in an email, such as the recipient's name, the date and time, or other custom data.

To keep it simple, email placeholders are tags that show where you'll put certain information later. For example, you can use recipient's name to mark where their name will go. eg Hi (recipient-name},

Placeholders are typically enclosed in double curly braces, such as {{first_name}} or {{current_date}}. When the email is sent, the placeholder is replaced with the actual value, such as the recipient's first name or the current date.

Placeholders can be used to personalize emails and make them more relevant to the recipient. They can also be used to include dynamic content in an email, such as the latest news or updates, or to include data that is specific to the recipient or the context in which the email is being sent.

Placeholders are a useful tool for email marketers and other professionals who want to create dynamic and personalized emails that are tailored to the needs and interests of their recipients.
